Assignment: Film Trailer Remix

In my basic writing course, I have an assignment where I ask students to produce short trailers for hypothetical movies or video games.  I have them use PowerPoint for the assignment, which can be “hacked” to emulate an animation program like Flash but with an easier, more familiar user interface (IMHO).  I must remember to have students in my future courses look at this wonderful, freaky, genre-bending remix of Mary Poppins as a model:
